Candle Making Workshop January 18th 2020

Soy wax candle making is booming like crazy in both as a hobby and as a candle business.  With any interests, it is so much fun to learn the craft and go home with something you made and that soothes your soul or to simply give as gifts. I absolutely LOVE making candles and I want to share it with anyone who wants to learn the craft.

We’ll cover basic information about candle making equipment, supplies, fragrances, wicks and various waxes in this class along with any questions you may have about candle making.  Additionally, you will receive a candle making guide covering what you need to get started making candles at home.

Each attendee will leave with two soy candles scented with your fragrance of choice. Included are 8 oz candle tins, cotton cored wicks, soy wax, fragrance oils, and labels.
While we wait for our candles to solidify, we will make one of the following (your choice) a room/body spray, liquid hand soap or sugar body scrub with recipes as a bonus.

During this event we will get to know each other and make new friends.

There is a limited number of places available for each workshop due to keep the quality and effectiveness of the class.

Even though we probably won’t spill, we don’t want you to wear your best clothes to this class. We will provide an apron and safety glasses if you choose to wear these during our event.

• This workshop is for adults only due to safety reasons.  Age requirement: 18 years of age and older.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin to see what fragrances you might want to choose for your products.
• A minimum of four participants are required to facilitate the workshop or it may be cancelled.
• No credits will be issued for missing the workshop. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another attendee for your original workshop registration date and time.
